Energy will come hype asf!! fun sheeet.
Expect Grime, Funk, SKa, Rock, Hype, Swing, Jazz, Soul, Vibez, Reggae, Dub, big tings, Drum & Bass, sweaty music.....could just keep going here.

SUPA & Da Kryptonites
a high octane award winning 10 Piece, mad grime/rudy ska band from Scotland. Spending the last few years honing their noise touring the length of the UK With a James B funk flavour, rub a dubbed with Reggae vibes, licks of Drum & Bass...echoes of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Swing & Soul. SuPa create an infectious energy with a second to none stage performance, from crowd favourite..laying down the infamous "Krypto-Hop" for all to stick their arse in its own postcode. Or the call & return chants that would leave the avid Human Traffic viewer scrambling to shout 'Noice waaaan brother'. Now go pack that in tight, with a bright & tasty horn section, a chameleon of a rhythm section, effortless soulful vocals, a rudeboy emcee and there is no wonder

Purple Felts
The Purple Felts are a six piece, heavy ska/funk band from Perth, Scotland. Blending a diverse range of influences, ranging from P-Funk to The Prodigy, “The Felts” create high-energy sonic grooves designed to keep you on your feet. They have toured their renowned, energetic live show across Scotland, earning esteem amongst audiences for their ability to combine precision performance with frenetic stage presence. Recent shows have taken them south of the border, with upcoming plans to tour the rest of the UK.
The Purple Felts launched their debut E.P. ‘The Jesters Game’ in August 2016, which saw the band receive airplay from various national radio stations including Amazing Radio hosted by Jim Gellatly and Heartland FM. It also saw the band’s profile rise to sharing stages with notable UK artists such as The Lafontaines, Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5, Mickey 9’s, Break the Butterfly and Dub Pistols. No strangers to bigger stages, “The Felts” have also taken their show to major Scottish festivals such as Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, ButeFest, Solas Festival, FakeFest and Carnival 56.
Currently, the band are working on their second E.P. scheduled to be released in early 2019, with plans to tour throughout the year.

Old Town House Eastervaganza!

Mar 30, 7:00pm - Apr 1, 11:55pm

Old Town House Eastervaganza!

Old Town House95 Buttermarket StreetWarrington,WA1 2NL Map

Hold on to your helmets, Bossmags and the Old Town House are joining forces again. This time to bring you a theme-heavy 3-day bank holiday beastie for Easter weekend. Prepare to be mystified, mesmerized, terrified, exhilarated, enraptured, captivated and captured as we host a manifold carnival of some of the finest in high-octane punk rock, ska, hardcore, prog, funk and many more personalities to keep you moving, grooving, laughing, crying and lashing your heads backwards and forwards.

How about a teeny tiny taster of the weekend? Oh, go on then! The lineup will include:

Pizzatramp:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0Hw8Aym2to

Everyone’s favourite very polite comedy skate thrash punk from Caldicot, South Wales. With such classic hits as “I Hope You F***ing Die”, “I’m Glad You Didn’t Die” and the unforgettable “Hey Bono! (F*** You)”, they are a band that the whole family can enjoy, over and over again.

Popes of Chillitown:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRIfc8q5c3s

Highly infectious, energetic and brass-driven London skrrrap skrap ska dub with character, bringing together elements of hip hop, drum n bass, two tone and punk to create an unstoppable, eclectigasmic dance machine that you shall not resist, nor forget in a hurry.

Burning Flag:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQNgxjnLq1E

It is our absolute pleasure to welcome the unbelievable BURNING FLAG to Warrington. A relentless powerhouse of take-no-sh*t, straight-to-the-point, blackened punk fury, smelted in a forge of 90’s power drum hardcore, D-beat and industrial riff, melted together to create their own brand of ‘scathing punk noise’. Prepare to have your whiskers singed.

The Mighty Bossmags:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJIJSQSt5Ks

“Experimental Swing Pirate Jazz-core” – Dying Scene. Yahaar mateys! Batten down the hatches and swab the ghost decks ya mortal landlubbin scurvey rats! Yes it's us, your unfriendly neighborhood weirdos, back to Old Town House to open our cabinet of cheap punk sorcery for you all.

One Eyed God:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDPc16SRrWo

Get ready to welcome back the psychedelic dub immersion of the One Eyed God experience, masters in getting you moving with sax and bouzouki driven dance floor fillers and cracking open your mind like an Easter egg with spoken word about the realities and absurdities of the world around us.

The Orchid Hunters:
soundcloud.com/the-orchid-hunters

We’re also over the moon to announce the return of Salford’s electric groove rollercoaster ride, The Orchid Hunters, with their quirky, fun and articulately put together arsenal of hair – raising funk-rock bangers delivered with serious high voltage and power live.

Almeida - UK:
almeida.bandcamp.com/album/fantastic-massacre-2

You read right! The UK’s heavyweight onslaught of full throttle melodic punk-metal riff wizardry are riding forth from their lava-moated citadel in Brighton to conquer your innocent jaws and rip them from your faces. For those of you who don’t already know Almeida, expect a shockingly intricate, infectious tech tidal wave musical force of epic proportions, piledriving forward vocally triumphant, fantastical tales of dragon-slaying and dungeon-crawling and altogether enveloped in a mind blowing live show.

X Ray Cat Trio:
xraycattrio.bandcamp.com/album/out-for-blood-2

Crypt creepin’ rock n’ roll trio born behind the dark, bourbon and tequila-soaked alleyway bins of an old outdoor B-movie horror screening. Dip yourself into a super cool surf guitar and double bass powered repertoire of Psychobilly-come-canyon riding Spaghetti Western sounds that’ll have your bones shakin’ outta your body before you can say Wolf Cop.

The Cracked Actors:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=46gfcDWKRJI

The Cracked Actors, Birmingham’s ska punk scene’s pride and joy since 1999 and multi-festival veterans are stomping along to kick in their eccentric, carnivalesque skunkrock full-brass flavour to the proceedings. Professionals in getting you jumping, dancing and laughing for nearly 20 years.

On A Hiding To Nothing:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=qf8aJDPlEfs

Rocking melodic London skate punk bursting with influences from the flaming torch of the 90’s era golden age, powering forward very fast with a ripping guitar sound and uplifting catchy harmonies. To sum it up, this band would have fit right into a Tony Hawks soundtrack.

Takotsubo Men:
takotsubomen.bandcamp.com/

Step right up and witness for yourself the alt boogie rage power of Takotsubo Men as they flick through the motions like a light switch, and just let them have their ‘beautifully nasty but ultimately gorgeous’ way over you. Don’t fight it. What’s the point?

WANWEIRD:
wanweird1.bandcamp.com/album/when-the-shit-hits-the-wan

Quite probably the greatest act in existence. Buy a f*cking album. Ron and Don Wanweirdly invite you for a ride into the inner workings of the human head you’ll never forget. You’ll try to. But you never will. To make sure you get the full experience we’re giving them their own stage.

In Evil Hour
www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_o6Skv8CAU

Welcome to Warrington the Fantastically gutsy North East hardcore punk rock band, In Evil Hour, With catchy harmonies thrusted over blasting melodies, they’ve been making waves up and down the UK and beyond.

The Purple Felts
thepurplefelts.bandcamp.com/

Full brass powered multi FX progressive funk-rock dance behemoth straight outta Perth. It’s about time we got them down to Wazza really! Purple clad carnie groovesmiths.

The Minor Discomfort Band
theminordiscomfortband.bandcamp.com/releases

All the way up from Ipswich, ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, come and join the f*cking punk rock barn dance.

Cistem failure
cistemfailure.bandcamp.com/album/cistemfailure

Anarcho feminist folk punk poets from Bristol, relentlessly and passionately getting stuck into addressing powerful topics, delivered over stomping banjo-driven rowdy bangers.

Hummer
hummerpunkrock.bandcamp.com/

Wazza’s own melodic punk-come-rock n’ roll bass orgy! Playing OTH for the 940th time since the start of the year!

Riggots
riggots.bandcamp.com/

Suggs thought he knew heavy, heavy monster sounds, but he clearly never met Riggots. What an absolute delight it is to have the musical three-man doomsday device on board to obliterate you all into dust. You’re bound to know them by now, but if for some mental reason you don’t, buckle yourself in for something exciting, intense and mind boggingly time signature-ific.

Jenkem
pumpkinrecords.bandcamp.com/album/jenkem-ep

Warrington’s shredmongering beastgasm have risen again! This will be the first time with Adam rejoining on sole screaming duties after the bands booming return after 3 years hiatus playing Old Town House in January as a 4-piece. You’re now getting treated to the full Jenkemific experience.

Incisions
incisionsmcr.bandcamp.com/

Manchester punk rock played gritty, fast and catchy.

Pardon Us
pardonus.bandcamp.com/album/pardon-us

Severely polite for their own good, melody making pop punkers with attitude. Mild mannered attitude, but attitude all the less.

ASEC
a-shower-eh-cunts.bandcamp.com/al…/a-shower-eh-cunts

Blasting comedic punk metal noise filth from Dunfermline, with a strong dislike for tories. AKA everyone’s spirit child.

Thorn in the Face MacGowan
thorninthefacemacgowan1.bandcamp.com/

Total one-off show from high octane screaming hardcore rock n’ roll silly people from Dundee. Hail Cthulhu.

Dr. Philosofunk

Just going to let that name sink in. We had the privilege of sharing a stage with this experience in York and just had to invite them. You will not be disappointed. The Doctor’s always on call, baby.

Mark Thomson The Poet

You might remember Mr. Thomson was booked to play with your heads at Hallowe’en but unfortunately ended up messing with his own. Now he’s back. Harder, better, faster. You have never seen a poet or storyteller like this man before, and to add to the general ridiculousness of the weekend, he’ll be opening the doors to The Hardest Chip Shop In Scotland.

*AND NOW WITH ADDED:

The Crash Mats
hornhoofrecords.bandcamp.com/album/69-peruvian-panpipe-classics

Oldham's famous ska/punk rock & sausage rollers!

Dog Hand String Band
Rat Bit Kit
Agenda Drag Show

Etickets for the full weekend are now LIVE @ www.oldtownhouse.co.uk/tickets or physical tickets are in Old Town House.
